Job description
CAMI NYC is bringing its signature New York luxury to the heart of 12 South. Founded in New York City, CAMI NYC is a luxury contemporary womenswear brand known for its signature camisoles, refined separates, and occasion‑ready pieces — crafted in elevated fabrics and designed for women who dress with intention. Our stores are intimate, welcoming environments where product knowledge, personal relationships, and exceptional service create loyal, lifelong clients.
About the Role
As Store Manager, you are the brand in Nashville. You’ll own every aspect of the store’s performance — from sales and operations to community presence and stylist partnerships. More than a retail manager, you are a connector: someone whose existing relationships in the Nashville fashion and creative community will accelerate the store’s growth and establish CAMI NYC as a destination for the city’s most style‑conscious women. This role is built for someone who already has a seat at the table in Nashville’s style community — a manager who brings a warm book of stylist relationships, not someone who is building one.
Responsibilities
Drive and achieve monthly and annual net sales targets
Build and maintain a personal client book with proactive outreach, follow‑up, and styling appointments
Manage inventory levels, sell‑through, and product feedback in partnership with the home office team
Monitor KPIs including AOV, conversion, units per transaction, and return rate
Build consignment program to expand reach within the market
Operations
Manage all day‑to‑day store operations including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and visual merchandising
Recruit, hire, train, and develop sales associates who reflect the CAMI NYC brand
Maintain store standards, loss prevention protocols, and compliance with company policies
Partner with the NYC team on seasonal buys, marketing initiatives, and product training
Community & Stylist Relations
This is the dimension of the role that sets it apart. Nashville’s fashion ecosystem is relationship‑driven — stylists, editors, influencers, event planners, and social figures shape where the city shops. We expect our Store Manager to be a recognized and respected presence in that world.
Cultivate and grow an active network of Nashville‑based personal stylists, wardrobe consultants, and fashion creatives who refer and pull from the store
Develop a formal stylist program including early access and private appointments
Partner with local event planners, bridal stylists, and musicians’ wardrobing teams for special occasion dressing
Plan and host in‑store events — trunk shows, styling nights, brand collaborations — that build community and drive traffic
Represent CAMI NYC at relevant Nashville fashion, charity, and social events
Develop relationships with local media, boutique hotel concierges, and adjacent luxury brands for cross‑referral opportunities
Qualifications
5+ years of retail experience, with at least 2 years in a management role at a luxury or contemporary womenswear brand
An established, active presence in the Nashville fashion and styling community
Proven track record of building personal client books and driving clienteling revenue
Deep familiarity with Nashville’s broader luxury consumer landscape
Exceptional personal style and the ability to genuinely connect with the CAMI NYC aesthetic
Strong business acumen — comfortable reading sales reports, managing budgets, and thinking like an owner
Natural relationship‑builder with warmth, professionalism, and social intelligence
Entrepreneurial spirit — this is a founding store and requires someone who thrives without a playbook
Pay range and compensation package
Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience
Performance‑based bonus tied to store goals
Full health insurance
Generous seasonal clothing allowance
Paid time off
