Job description
Manage all aspects of the store
Hire and train associates and oversee store operations
Create action plans to achieve financial, customer-service, and operational goals
Demonstrate product knowledge, selling, and operational skills to maximize sales
Engage customers to build relationships and brand loyalty
Attract, develop, and retain top talent
Motivate teams and provide performance feedback
Set expectations and hold the store team accountable for results
Ensure merchandising and operational standards are consistently met
Oversee controllable expenses, including payroll and training, to increase profitability
Lead floor sets, window changes, and other merchandising and visual activities
Perform POS transactions and management functions when the Assistant Manager is absent
Schedule employees to maximize productivity
Report to the District Manager
Requirements
2+ years as a Store Manager in a similar-volume apparel business (preferred)
Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
May require occasional travel to other store locations and attendance at district meetings
