About You

Retail & leadership experience: Minimum one year of retail management experience preferred.
Confidence in piercing services: Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist.
Strong communication and selling skills: Engage customers, build relationships, and close sales.
Ability to work independently: Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of leading when needed.
Job Requirements
Conduct piercings with patience and empathy, especially with young or anxious customers.
Proficient in POS system operation for efficient sales and transaction management.
High school diploma or equivalent, with 1–2 years of retail management experience.
Physical ability to stand during shifts and maneuver 11–35 kg (25–75 lb).
Capability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while merchandising and assisting customers.
Passion for helping customers express themselves freely.
High energy and commitment to excellent customer service.
Alignment with values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, and diversity.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good grasp of mathematics for inventory, sales analysis, and cash handling.
Driven team leader with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Self‑motivation and organization, especially in solo shifts.
Passion for fashion and staying current with trends to enhance customer experience and sales.
Ability to create curated looks with products during your shift.

Candidate Journey

Compensation Range: $17.00 – $19.50 per hour.
Claire’s is committed to adhering to all applicable company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. Final compensation will be determined by experience, education, skills, and geographic location.
Benefits for full‑time employees include medical, dental, vision insurance, voluntary welfare plans, bonus plan eligibility, 401(k) match, vacation time, sick time, and paid leave. Part‑time employees receive voluntary welfare plans, 401(k) match (in required states), vacation time, sick time, and paid leave.
Sick time accrual: For Washington state, all employees accrue paid sick time at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
