Job description
Retail Store ProcessorAt The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.Location: Davison, MI Pay: $13.73 per hour Job Type: Part Time, 25 hours/wkWhat You'll DoSort, tag, and price merchandiseHelp track and report production numbersMove processed merchandise to sales floorProvide friendly, helpful service to donorsReceive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departmentsMaintain clean work and storage spacesWork together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stockRequiredAbility to process donated merchandiseReliable attendance and punctualityBasic communication and teamwork skillsBasic math and computer skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededAbility to stand and walk for most of the shiftAbility to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the dayHigh school diploma or currently pursuingTraining ProvidedPaid training on store proceduresOngoing coaching and support from store leadershipOpportunity to build retail and customer service skillsWhy Join UsMission-driven work that supports programs in your communityOn-the-job trainingTeam-oriented environmentEmployee Discount, Employee Assistance Program, and more!The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
