Materials Management AssistantTo assist with the issuing and stocking of materials, customer service, and support of all hospital departments and clinics, and assist with stockroom duties needed. Required to work with the Director/Supervisor regularly to carry out, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Materials Management Department.Job RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or GEDExperience: A working knowledge of processing of supplies, preferably in a storeroom/warehouse environment, and knowledge of computers and related software.Working knowledge of computers systems and related software.Able to meet deadlines and get the job done accurately while managing personal time.Primary Source Verification: Original TranscriptsSafety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without accommodation. Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat, and twist, and occasionally lift 30 pounds throughout work shift using proper body mechanics. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.Work Environment Hospital departments and patient areas, storeroom setting, all areas of the hospital, and clinic locationsPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Storeroom Staff: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts, days may vary.
