We are looking for a reliable and experienced C driver to join our team as a full-time 26-foot straight truck driver . All deliveries and pickups are local , so you will be home every night.
The primary responsibility will be safely operating a 26-foot straight truck while making local deliveries and pickups. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a safe driving record, and a professional attitude when working with customers.
There may also be an opportunity to drive a semi-truck when needed , depending on the driver's qualifications and CDL class.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a 26-foot straight truck
Make local deliveries
Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
Provide professional and courteous service to customers
Perform routine vehicle inspections
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Maintain a clean and organized truck
Occasionally operate a semi-truck when needed and qualified
Assist with other shipping, warehouse, or production duties as needed
Qualifications
Valid C required
Class A CDL preferred
Clean and safe driving record
Previous commercial driving experience preferred
Experience operating a 26-foot straight truck is a plus
Dependable and punctual
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to safely handle and secure freight
Must meet all applicable DOT requirements
