Job description
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Straight Truck Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a 24 foot flatbed truck with a capacity of 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). When you are not driving, you will be helping in the cleaning, shipping department to prep and load your deliveries. We are a fabrication job shop for steel, aluminum, and stainless parts. You would be grinding/cleaning parts, counting, and packing per the paperwork and packing slips alongside the shipping department crew.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a flatbed straight truck
Load and unload cargo
Properly track and document activity log
Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
Clean driver's license
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong work ethic, You are the only truck driver for D & M Welding
