Charter Casting is hiring a Strategic Account Manager III!

Charter Aarrowcast and Charter Dura-Bar combined in 2021 to form Charter Casting - the world's largest producer of continuous cast-iron bar stock and a leading innovative cast metal solutions provider.

Charter Casting Shawano (formerly known as Aarrowcast) is North America's premier green sand foundry, offering an unmatched range of complex iron casting solutions to leading OEM and Tier 1 suppliers' customers.

Charter Casting Woodstock (formerly known as Dura-Bar) is the preferred choice over steel, castings and aluminum for many applications in various industries, providing solutions that improve performance and result in significant long-term cost savings for customers.

The Strategic Account Manager III is a senior commercial leader responsible for delivering above-market growth within Charter Casting’s most strategically important, complex, and highest-value OEM accounts. This role leads strategic execution across key customer relationships, driving long-range account positioning and delivering significant revenue growth, margin expansion, major platform wins, and strategic portfolio influence aligned with both annual and 5-year initiatives.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

8 years of outside sales experience in metals or manufacturing environment

Demonstrated success managing large, complex OEM accounts

Proven success in winning large, complex, multi-year programs

Advanced financial acumen, including pricing strategy, margin optimization, and contract evaluation

Executive-level communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Experience developing and executing comprehensive multi-year strategic account plans

Preferred experience

Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or other related advanced degree

Experience managing complex OEM relationships

Experience negotiating long-term agreements and complex commercial contracts

Advanced proficiency in Salesforce CRM and sales analytics tools

Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional business strategy

What you'll focus on

Lead strategic account plans across Charter Casting’s most critical OEM relationships

Own executive-level commercial relationships and long-term account positioning

Identify and secure major platform wins, competitive displacement opportunities, and long-term commercial agreements

Lead complex commercial negotiations involving pricing strategy, margin protection, and contract structure

Influence portfolio strategy, business planning, and long-term growth priorities aligned with annual and multi-year initiatives

Lead and align internal cross-functional teams to deliver strategic customer commitments

Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to identify high-value growth opportunities

Provide mentorship and commercial leadership to SAM I and SAM II roles to elevate selling capability across the organization
