Strategic City Finance Director

Job description

Gfoat is seeking a Finance Director to lead the city's financial activities, including debt management, cash handling, accounting, payroll, investments, and utility billing. The role reports to the City Manager and requires strategic financial leadership and integrity.

Responsibilities include directing general ledger accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and external audits, while ensuring GASB compliance and transparent reporting to the City Council. CPA or CGFO is preferred.
