Job description
The State of South Carolina Department of Transportation in Columbia seeks a media relations manager reporting to the Director of Public Engagement. You will oversee SCDOT’s media relations, respond to requests, and serve as the agency's spokesperson to deliver accurate information.
You will write and edit news releases, speeches, and campaigns; coordinate with Public Information Officers; plan communications strategies; and monitor media coverage to inform leadership and stakeholders.
