Putnam County Government is seeking a County Auditor who will audit county financial accounts, records, and vouchers. The auditor works under the County Legislature, with independent judgment and may supervise staff.
The position involves attending evening legislative and budget meetings and preparing audit reports with recommendations. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s with accounting credits or an associate with accounting credits, or a high school diploma with extensive accounting
