Job description
Nelson County Public Schools in Lovingston, Virginia seeks a Director of Budget and Finance to lead all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, grants, and audits. This role ensures public funds are managed in compliance with GAAP and state regulations while guiding capital projects and risk management.
The successful candidate will oversee annual budgets, reporting to the School Board, coordinate with the Treasurer and Auditor, and supervise finance staff.
