Job description
Newberry College seeks an innovative development professional to manage major gift fundraising. The Director of Development will work closely with the President and Chief Development Officer to cultivate, solicit, and close five-, six- and seven-figure gifts from alumni, friends and corporations.
The role requires strategic donor engagement, event planning, and collaboration with faculty, trustees and volunteers to meet fundraising goals. Travel locally and occasionally out of state is expected.
