Job description
The City of South Amboy is seeking a CFO with deep municipal finance expertise to lead all finance functions, including budget preparation, payroll, pensions, and financial reporting. This full-time role reports directly to the Business Administrator and requires licensure and proven local government experience.
The successful candidate will analyze financial data, forecast needs, supervise purchasing and payroll staff, and ensure compliance with state statutes.
