Job description
Telligen is seeking a Peer Review Psychiatrist to perform peer reviews and appeals, ensuring concurrent inpatient psychiatric requests meet necessity and appropriateness standards.
Candidate must hold an active California medical license (or willingness to obtain) with board certification in Psychiatry or Neurology, and have utilization management experience, DSM-5/ICD-10 mastery, proficiency with EHRs, and strong communication with treating clinicians. This is a 1099 contract role.
