Job description
Blount County is seeking a Finance Director to lead the county's financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, reporting, cash management, internal controls, and compliance with state and federal laws.
You will collaborate with all departments to promote transparency and sound stewardship of public funds, develop long-range financial plans, and ensure audits are completed timely. This role requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of governmental accounting standards.
