Job description
The City School District of Mount Vernon seeks a Treasurer to manage district funds, safeguard assets, oversee cash management, banking, investments, debt service, and financial reporting, reporting to the Assistant Superintendent for Business.
The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Accounting/Finance or Business Admin with at least two years of progressively responsible financial management experience in public sector; must be bonded; Exempt; salary range $120,000 to $150,000 per year.
