Position Summary
We are seeking a Sourcing Consultant to support purchasing and strategic sourcing activities across direct and indirect goods and services. This position will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and supporting third-party service provider selection and contracting. The role will also oversee lease administration activities and ensure contracts and related documentation are completed accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Lead assigned spend categories and develop sourcing strategies for products, services, and suppliers.
Manage sourcing activities, including supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and contracting.
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to support cost-effective purchasing decisions and reduce vendor contract risk.
Analyze contract data, business objectives, spending patterns, and market conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support category savings objectives and supplier performance management activities.
Develop deal strategies and conduct cost-effective supplier assessments.
Manage the end-to-end third-party service provider selection and contracting process.
Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, suppliers, internal stakeholders, and business partners.
Manage the lease process from origination through final execution.
Ensure required lease documentation is received, reviewed, filed, and executed accurately.
Maintain lease administration systems and prepare lease agreements and related contractual documentation.
Collaborate with peers, colleagues, managers, and business partners to ensure appropriate contractual language is incorporated into final agreements.
Research and respond to internal and external inquiries related to sourcing, contracts, suppliers, purchasing, and leases.
Ensure sourcing and contract activities are completed in accordance with established company policies, procedures, and requirements.
Required Qualifications
Experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain functions.
Experience with contract negotiation and contract management.
Experience managing vendors or suppliers and evaluating supplier performance.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to review spend, contract, and market data.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple sourcing and contracting activities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement consulting, supplier management, contract administration, third-party risk are encouraged to apply.
