Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Real Estate Services team. The Sourcing Real Estate Services Senior Consultant needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within real estate, facilities, construction and related corporate services.

Main Responsibilities Will Include

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives: diving complex, high‑value sourcing strategies for our clients across Real Estate, Facilities Management, MRO, Construction, and related Corporate Services, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities, risk tolerance, and long‑term value creation

Serve as a strategic partner to senior business stakeholders

Engaging regularly with senior leaders to understand evolving business strategies, operational priorities, and investment plans

Translating these needs into forward‑looking sourcing approaches that guide stakeholders toward optimal commercial and delivery outcomes

Shape commercial and contracting strategies

Influencing deal structures early in the process by aligning business requirements with sourcing best practices, scalable delivery models, and commercially sound contract terms

Ensuring that each engagement supports broader category strategies and enterprise objectives

Drive value creation and financial optimization

Identifying, quantifying, and delivering savings opportunities across all engagements using advanced cost‑modeling techniques, benchmarking insights, and negotiation strategies

Partnering with stakeholders to ensure cost optimization is embedded in project design—not just contract execution

Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships

Cultivating high‑value relationships with key suppliers across Corporate Services categories, staying well‑informed on their capabilities, competitive positioning, innovation roadmaps, and market trends

Leveraging these insights to enhance supplier performance and category strategy

Lead competitive events and cross‑functional evaluation processes

Designing and managing sophisticated competitive sourcing events (RFx), leveraging automated sourcing tools and structured evaluation methodologies

Facilitating cross‑functional assessments to ensure selection decisions are data‑driven, transparent, and aligned with business objectives

Architect and negotiate complex contracting arrangements

Drafting, refining, and negotiating SOWs, MSAs, and commercial terms using client templates while tailoring deal‑specific provisions to manage risk, enforce accountability, and maximize long‑term value

Partnering closely with Legal, Risk, and Finance to ensure compliance and commercial soundness

Ensure governance, process compliance & operational excellence

Upholding governance standards across all sourcing engagements by ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal procurement policies

Championing process improvements that enhance efficiency, transparency, and strategic control

Provide insightful reporting & value tracking

Delivering clear, accurate reporting on sourcing project status, savings delivery, risk considerations, and value realization using required Chain IQ and client reporting tools

Communicating insights to stakeholders and category leadership to support informed decision‑making

Drive global collaboration and best‑practice sharing

Partnering with global Chain IQ teams to coordinate cross‑regional sourcing strategies, supplier governance activities, and process harmonization initiatives

Contributing to the development and adoption of best practices across the sourcing function

Mentor and develop talent

Providing coaching, guidance, and thought leadership to junior team members, supporting capability development and fostering a culture of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and sourcing excellence

Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Real Estate sourcing with demonstrated sourcing and negotiation experience with major Services Suppliers

Ability to perform contract drafting and negotiations with limited additional legal support

Demonstrated experience in identifying savings and cost reduction opportunities in contract negotiations, and developing and leading negotiating strategies to achieve those savings

Ability to quickly understand and apply new concepts (i.e., supplier pricing models; contracting options and alternatives; sourcing tools and platforms; sourcing processes, policies, and procedures)

Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior clients/stakeholders

Ability to effectively organize and prioritize a wide array of initiatives to tight deadlines

Experience in working with market leading sourcing tools/systems is a plus

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, data analytics, or supply chain

Advanced degree preferred

Join a truly global team.
