Job description

Join a high-impact team where your strategic thinking and leadership will directly influence how small and mid-sized businesses experience payments. You'll work at the intersection of product, analytics, and executive leadership — with real visibility and real influence. This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make a meaningful difference for business clients.

As a Strategy and Planning Senior Associcate in the Strategy and Planning team, you will lead product portfolio strategy and performance reporting for payments products serving our Small Business and Commercial client segments. You will bring together data, insights, and cross-functional partnerships to shape priorities and drive results — including helping the team adopt AI-enabled ways of working to surface sharper insights and improve customer outcomes.

Job responsibilities

Define and evolve the product portfolio strategy, partnering with product managers to establish objectives and key results, leveraging AI-assisted insights to identify growth opportunities and customer pain points earlier

Lead strategic projects by structuring complex business problems and developing solutions in collaboration with product, analytics, and research teams, including applying AI/ML methods such as predictive modeling, segmentation, and anomaly detection to quantify performance drivers and prioritize interventions

Synthesize data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive analysis, and company goals to assess product performance and prioritize future initiatives — using AI to accelerate root-cause analysis and trend detection across large datasets

Design and scale AI-enabled reporting and operating mechanisms, including automated KPI narratives, exception-based dashboards, and self-serve insights, to reduce manual effort and improve decision speed and quality

Manage executive communications and updates to senior leaders and stakeholders, translating complex analyses into clear, fact-based recommendations with appropriate validation and human judgment

Monitor and synthesize industry trends and competitive dynamics across the payments landscape, using AI-supported research workflows to identify emerging threats, opportunities, and best practices

Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI can improve customer experiences and define measurable outcome metrics to evaluate impact

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in strategy, product, analytics, or a related field

Ability to think strategically and connect insights to the broader business picture while diving into details to drive successful execution

Strong analytical skills with the ability to present fact-based recommendations clearly, logically, and concisely

Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously under rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Comfort working with data and analytics tools, with the ability to collaborate effectively with data science and analytics partners and apply AI-driven insights to business decisions with sound judgment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Master's degree or MBA

Deep understanding of small business customers and their unique needs

Experience driving AI-enabled product or analytics initiatives such as experimentation, forecasting, customer segmentation, or operational analytics, including defining success metrics and managing change across stakeholders
