Stroke Neurohospitalist Opportunity

Akron, Ohio

Summa Health Medical Group is seeking an inpatient Stroke Neurologist to join our nationally recognized Neuroscience Institute in Akron, Ohio. The position offers inpatient coverage on a flexible 7-on/7-off block schedule for 23 weeks per year, which promotes both work-life balance and continuity of care.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a highly integrated, multidisciplinary team. The selected provider will work in close collaboration alongside Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care, Endovascular, and Critical Care Trauma programs to ensure seamless, coordinated care from emergency intervention through recovery. Summa Health Medical Group has nearly 700 unified, high performing providers aligned to create a healthier Northeastern Ohio community.

Candidate Qualifications

* Board certification and/or eligibility in Neurology

* A current unrestricted license or the ability to obtain a license to practice medicine in Ohio
