American Trades Contracting is actively seeking a highly skilled 6G Combo Welder to join our growing team. If you take pride in precision work, thrive in fast-paced industrial environments, and have experience with pipe welding across multiple processes, we want to hear from you.
Position Overview:
The 6G Combo Welder will be responsible for performing high-quality welds on pipe and structural components using a combination of welding techniques. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform 6G pipe welding using processes such as TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and Stick (SMAW)
Read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures, and technical drawings
Ensure welds meet code and client specifications (ASME, API, etc.)
Conduct proper equipment setup and maintenance
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a 6G Combo Welder
Ability to pass a 6G weld test
Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel if required
OSHA certification (preferred but not required)
