Job description
Act as Project Manager or Lead Engineer on projects under the direction of the company's Chief Structural Engineer.
Utilize current technology and engineering software on projects.
Take a proactive role in business development activities.
Commit to quality and continuous improvement.
Develop junior structural staff.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, preferably with bridge design and transportation structure projects.
A BS in civil engineering with structural emphasis is required, and an MS in structural engineering is preferred.
PE license is required (or on way to getting license); and for Illinois office locations an SE license is a plus.
Software knowledge, including MS Office, Microstation, and structural analysis programs.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of DOT and ISTHA design standards and analysis is desired.
