Location: Flagstaff, AZ — In Person
Salary: $65,000–$124,000, depending on experience
Relocation Assistance: Up to $2,500
*Will consider higher level candidates a Project Manager title
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Structural Designer / Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of post-graduation experience to join our growing structural engineering team in Flagstaff, Arizona.
This is an opportunity to work with a small, collaborative engineering firm on a variety of projects located throughout the United States. You’ll work closely with experienced Professional Engineers and project managers while continuing to build your technical skills and work toward your Professional Engineer (PE) license .

What You'll Do
Prepare structural engineering design calculations
Develop and modify structural construction drawings
Complete drafting and design work using AutoCAD and Revit
Work closely with project managers and Professional Engineers
Guide and support drafters and interns and review work for accuracy
Prepare construction drawings for review and sealing by a Professional Engineer
Develop practical solutions to structural design and construction challenges
Review third-party reports, drawings, and project shop drawings
Communicate with clients, contractors, consulting engineers, and other project stakeholders
Assist with value engineering strategies
Participate in project site visits and inspections
Efficiently manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and levels of complexity
Continue developing your technical knowledge in preparation for PE licensure and future advancement
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
2+ years of post-graduate structural engineering experience
Experience working in a structural engineering environment
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and RISA
Strong understanding of engineering principles and drafting practices
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders
Experience working in the Southwest or Rocky Mountain region is preferred.
