Job description
Structural Fitter / ASME WelderAbundant Solutions is hiring experienced Structural Fitter / ASME Welders for a growing manufacturing facility in Broken Arrow. This role involves the assembly and welding of custom bladder tanks, strainers, valves, and pressure-rated products built to strict ASME standards. All candidates must pass an ASME weld test. Welder Class A or Class B will be determined based on test results. Potential for raises after 90-day review.Primary Responsibilities:Weld custom pressure-rated products in accordance with ASME codesPerform MIG, Flux Core, TIG, and Sub Arc welding as requiredEnsure welds are watertight and meet defined pressure ranges and tolerancesRead and interpret engineering blueprints and schematicsComplete assignments based on production needs and timelinesConduct visual inspections and testing to verify weld quality and tolerancesSafely operate forklift (must be certified)Make minor adjustments and perform routine maintenance on machines and toolsComplete paperwork and documentation accuratelyFollow all safety standards, PPE requirements, and shop proceduresContribute to maintaining a high-quality, organized manufacturing environmentRequirements:Minimum 2+ years of welding experienceMust pass ASME weld test (Class A or B based on results)Experience with MIG and Flux Core required (TIG and Sub Arc a plus)Ability to read and interpret blueprintsForklift experience and certification requiredPrior material handling experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and craftsmanshipPhysical Requirements:Standing/walking up to 6 hours per shiftRegular lifting up to 50 lbsFrequent bending, stooping, kneelingFrequent use of hands and arms for tool operation and assemblyOccasional pushing, pulling, and ladder useClear vision and hearing required for safety and communicationWork Environment:Welding and fabrication facilityExposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and industrial noiseMust work in varying temperatures within manufacturing/warehouse environmentRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE)This is a long-term opportunity for a skilled welder seeking stable day shift hours and competitive pay in a precision manufacturing environment.
