Job description
Structural Flux-Core WeldersTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Flux-Core Welders. The pay rate is up to $35/hour plus $100/per diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the Jobsite. If you are a welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Perform structural steel welding in a fabrication shop environmentWeld light and heavy beams, columns, and structural assembliesPerform FCAW/Flux-Core welding in accordance with project specificationsFollow applicable Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)Read and interpret structural drawings and welding symbolsPerform groove and fillet welds to required quality standardsMaintain production requirements while ensuring weld qualityInspect completed welds and make necessary corrections or repairsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work areaWork extended shifts, weekends, and overtime as required by the projectRequirements:Must pass various weld testsPrevious experience with structural steel fabricationStrong FCAW/Flux-Core welding experienceExperience with heavy fabricationExperience welding beams, columns, and structural assembliesProficiency with groove and fillet weldsExperience working from WPS requirementsAbility to read structural drawings and weld symbolsAWS or other recognized structural welding certifications are preferredCurrent or expired welding certifications are encouragedJobsites Available:El Mirage, AZHenderson, NVPocatello, IDWest Jordan, UTTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.Our comprehensive benefits include:Tradesmen+ Rewards Program – earn points for hours workedVacation PayHealth insurance401(k) retirement savings planTradesmen International is an EO employer - M/F/Veteran/DisabilityBe safe from fraud!
