Job description
Lenox Hill Hospital offers a one-year, non-ACGME Advanced Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in Structural Heart Disease for candidates who will complete an Interventional Cardiology training program by June 2026. This high-volume, multidisciplinary program provides comprehensive, hands-on training in transcatheter therapies, including but not limited to: TAVR, M-TEER/T-TEER, TMVR, TTVR, paravalvular leak closure, PFO/ASD closure, left atrial appendage occlusion, electrosurgery, catheter-directed thrombectomy, mechanical support, and hybrid surgical procedures. Training includes advanced echocardiography and CT imaging for the management of complex structural heart patients. The program is integrated with Cardiothoracic Surgery, offering collaboration in a high-volume, minimally invasive, robotic cardiac surgical program. Fellows will have robust opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement, and scholarly activity with dedicated protected time and mentorship.
This fellowship is available to applicants who are BC/BE in adult cardiology and interventional cardiology.

Our faculty includes 2 full-time/2 part-time Structural Heart Interventional Cardiologists, 1 dedicated Structural Cardiac Surgeon (5 total Cardiac Surgeons with 1 minimally-invasive Cardiac Surgical Fellow), and 2 Interventional Echocardiographers, all committed to intensive mentorship, skill development, and career advancement for fellows.

Full-time clinical training compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $70K to $100K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
