Sales / Business DevelopmentA steel fabricator is looking for a connected Sales/Business Development Professional to drive new business across North America as they continue to grow. The ideal candidate will be capable of generating new and diverse sales opportunities. Their compensation package is competitive and includes a base salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and is negotiable for the right candidate. Opportunity for additional bonus/incentive structure. This is an outside sales opportunity with some travel to clients required.Our client offers single-point responsibility for the entire Division 5 scope of the project, including fabrication and erection of the structural steel, joist, deck, and miscellaneous metals.Business Development Duties:Scout opportunities to leverage competitive advantages to increase our market shareConfidently present to new clients to develop sales opportunityStay in tune with current market trends, including material prices, lead-times, and industry standardsDevelop innovative and non-traditional means to increase market share and profitabilityBusiness Development Qualifications:+5 years of experience in Structural Steel Fabrication and/or Steel Erection Experience - both preferredGood communicator who strives with little management and is self-motivatedPreviously established network of contacts and relationships with steel fabricatorStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to multi-task based upon prioritiesProven track record in sales and customer serviceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
