Pay:
$23-$36/hr. (based on experience and skills)
Shift: 1st shift - 5:00 AM start, 10-hour shifts
Location: Coatesville, PA
Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Structural Steel Fitters / Fabricators to build and assemble structural steel components. This role requires strong fitting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read drawings and work safely with heavy steel.
Qualifications
2+ years of structural steel fitting and fabrication experience
AISC fabrication shop experience preferred
Able to read and understand shop drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
Experience with carbon steel fabrication
Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety
Able to work well in a team environment
Comfortable working around heavy steel and machinery
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
Layout, fit, and fabricate structural steel components
Measure and assemble steel to meet required dimensions
Perform grinding, cutting, and arc gouging
Use cutting torches and oxy-fuel equipment
Safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow AISC, AWS, and OSHA safety standards
Work with welders, fabricators, and other team members to keep production moving
