Job description
Structural Steel Painter/LoaderPay: $24-26/hr.Shift: Mon-Fri (6am to 4:30pm) with optional Saturday OTThe Painter/Load is mainly responsible for painting and preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks as required.Requirements:Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paintMust have experience with overhead craneMaintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisorsWorks in compliance with company's safety policies and proceduresMust be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as neededBasic math skills are requiredMust be able to tolerate hot and cold working environmentMust be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hoursMust be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environmentJob Duties:Prep and paint structural steelOperate forklift as neededPerform rigging work to move materials as requiresLoad and unload steel from trucksPerform other duties as required to support the fabrication shopBenefits:Health/dental/vision/disability insurancePaid time offPaid holidays401k with employer match and 100% vesting from the beginningPaid weeklyCompany Paid Life InsuranceSelected applicant will be subject to a pre-employment physical with drug/alcohol testing.
