We know how to identify and implement innovative solutions for our client's toughest challenges.Position Summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Structure Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance operations for local bridges and structures in the Fort Pierce, FL area. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to roadway construction and maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures. Clean driving record is essential Must pass criminal background check Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of related experience in bridge/structure repair and maintenance Preferred Skills/Experience:Full bilingual Spanish/EnglishRoadway maintenance or construction skillsMOT Certifications AdvancedGeneral knowledge of reading/understanding plans and specifications for structuresCDL license preferred, but not requiredQualifications:Must have transportation to and from Company officeAbility to take directionProduce quality work in an efficient mannerAgree to comply with all of our safety processes and proceduresWillingness to maintain and operate construction tools in a safe and proper mannerHigh School Diploma/GEDMaintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)Knowledge of local driving rules and regulationsCarry out simple arithmetic functionsMaintain proper safety equipment required for each jobKnowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technologyAbility to use smart phone and applicationsAbility to adjust to changing work schedule, work overtime, nights and weekendsAbility to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditionsCapable of lifting up to 50 pounds; strenuous manual labor may be requiredAbility to operate hand/power toolsSchedule: Full-time. Must be flexible and available to work on-call when required. Day shift & Night shift needed.
