Job description
Our cleint is seeking a talented Attorney to join its growing Asset Securitization Practice Group in New York. This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney looking to work on sophisticated structured finance and securitization matters alongside a highly regarded team serving financial institutions, asset managers, lenders, issuers, and corporate clients.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in transactional, corporate, finance, structured finance, or capital markets matters gained at a large or mid-sized law firm, in-house legal department, or government agency.
2-8+ years of experience in a transactional legal practice
Experience with asset securitization, structured finance, capital markets, securities, leveraged finance, banking, or related finance transactions
Open to candidates currently practicing in securities, capital markets, leveraged finance, banking & credit, or other finance-focused groups who are interested in pivoting into asset securitization
Associate and Counsel-level candidates are encouraged to apply
Representative Experience May Include:
Advising clients on structured finance and securitization transactions
Representing companies and financial institutions in a variety of financing activities
Drafting and negotiating transaction documents, offering materials, and financing agreements
Advising on secured and unsecured credit facilities
Counseling clients on acquisitions and dispositions of financial asset portfolios
Addressing commercial law and securities law issues related to complex finance transactions
Working with a wide range of asset classes and capital markets products
Qualifications:
Strong academic credentials
Excellent analytical, drafting, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Commercial mindset and commitment to exceptional client service
