Overview
CareVet of Lincoln Way| Chambersburg, Pennsylvania
Join our 2-doctor team for a paid externship* designed to give veterinary students valuable, real-world clinical experience in a supportive hospital environment.
About Our Hospital
CareVet of Lincoln Way, located in beautiful south-central Pennsylvania, has been serving our community and their animals for over seven decades!

Digital x-ray

Location
Near Chambersburg students can go to Cluggy's Amusement Center for go-karts, mini golf, laser tag, and arcade games. They can also go bowling at Nellie Fox Bowl, see a movie, or visit Capitol Theatre Center for concerts and shows. For outdoor activities, students can hike at Caledonia State Park, walk or bike the Chambersburg Rail Trail, or play sports at Memorial Park.
Responsibilities
As an extern, you'll learn alongside experienced veterinarians and technicians while gaining exposure to: Wellness and preventive care
Surgery and anesthesia
Dentistry
Diagnostics and laboratory services
Urgent care and medical cases
Client communication and patient care
Qualifications Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
*Certain graded externships may not be eligible for payment, based on the requirements of the student's veterinary school curriculum.
