Job description
Student Transitions Coordinator
Within the Office of Student Transitions, the Student Transitions Coordinators (the Fab5 team) will:
Responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of New Student Orientation (NSO), Ram Round-Up (RRU), RAMbunctious Week (RW) and Family Weekend in addition to other programming initiatives.
Serve as liaison between Student Transitions Director and Assistant Director and summer student staff members, through recruitment, selection, training, and day of events.
Meet regularly with the summer student staff in order to build relationships and serve in a mentoring capacity with the team.
Facilitate communication with incoming students, their parents, and university offices, regarding the programs within Student Transitions and other related issues.
Coordinate social media announcements and reply as needed to inquiries and messages from incoming students and family members.
Manage data entry, list management, and calendar maintenance for the Student Transitions via various platforms.
Assist the Office of Student Transitions in meeting department goals and initiatives.
Currently enrolled student and registered for classes
In good standing academically and judicially
Will not graduate prior to December 2027
Available to work all programs within the Office of Student Transitions that include: New Student Orientations in June and July Ram Round-Up camps in July RAMbunctious Week in August
Prior experience with one or more of the programs within the Office of Student Transitions
Salary - $9.00/hr
