Student WorkerOwen County SchoolsJob Class Code: 7788Qualifications:1. Must maintain good attendance at school2. Student Worker must maintain a passing level in all classes3. Shall be friendly and courteous at all times4. Must be attentive, supportive, kind and positive with the children at all timesReports To: Immediate SupervisorJob Goal: To gain valuable work experience, develop essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management, and contribute positively to the success of Owen County schools while balancing academic commitments.Performance Responsibilities:Being detail-oriented and completing tasks promptlyBeing comfortable in unfamiliar situations and taking on challenging assignmentsHaving good communication skills, both oral and writtenBeing able to carry out instructionsBeing able to perform essential functions safely and following safety regulationsBeing self-motivated and finding motivation during stressful timesBeing supportive of student success, respecting FERPA, and maintaining filesOther duties as assignedTerms of Employment: Hourly rate set annually by the Board of Education.Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board's Policy on Evaluation of Personnel.
