nColor Me Mine is looking for vibrant and hardworking individuals to join our dynamic team! As the face of our studio, you will be the key player in welcoming guests to the world of pottery painting, maintaining the studio, and processing ceramics. This is a hands-on role that supports both front-of-house guest experiences and back-of-house studio operations. We're especially interested in candidates who are excited to learn ceramic processing, glazing, and kiln room operations as part of their growth within the studio. No artistic experience is required to work here—just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing an excellent guest experience.
nAbout Color Me Mine Bridgehampton
nColor Me Mine Bridgehampton is a pottery painting studio independently owned and operated as part of the Color Me Mine franchise system. Our Bridgehampton studio is opening this summer and will bring a creative and welcoming experience to the Hamptons community. Guests visit to relax, spend time with family and friends, celebrate special occasions, and create meaningful pieces they will cherish for years. We offer hundreds of ceramic pieces and a full range of art supplies in a bright and inspiring environment. The studio hosts birthday parties, family outings, date nights, team building events, and seasonal community gatherings throughout the year.
nResponsibilities
nGuest Experience & Front-of-House Operations
nWelcome guests and provide exceptional customer service
nAssist customers with pottery painting techniques and studio processes
nSupport reservations, walk-in seating, and guest flow
nHost birthday parties, events, and group gatherings
nPromote studio offerings, classes, memberships, and special events
nMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment
nCeramic Processing & Back-of-House Operations
nLearn and assist with glazing customer pottery
nSupport kiln loading and unloading procedures (training provided)
nPrepare ceramics for customer pickup, including sanding, finishing, and packaging
nOrganize completed orders and maintain processing workflows
nAssist with inventory, restocking, and shipment processing
nHelp maintain kiln room cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
nSupport overall studio operations during busy periods
nQualifications
nMinimum 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, food service, or a similar fast-paced environment
nStrong communication and problem-solving skills
nReliable, organized, and able to work independently
nPositive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
nComfortable balancing customer-facing responsibilities with operational tasks
nAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
nBonus Qualifications
nExperience working with ceramics, pottery, or kiln operations
nExperience glazing, ceramic processing, or studio production work
nInterest in learning kiln room operations and ceramic finishing processes
nSchedule
nPart-time position (year-around)
nEvening and weekend availability is required
nWe are looking for team members who can consistently work 3–4 shifts per week
