Assistant SupervisorAcoustical Sheetmetal Company (ASC) provides on-site power integration for large-scale data centers. We offer sound-attenuated and weather-protective packaging for on-site power generation equipment, with products ranging from economical skin-tight enclosures to entire multi-unit power plants.We work to reform and modernize the integration process in a multitude of ways. This role partners closely with the Supervisor to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.Key Responsibilities:Manages the team, schedules, and deadlines.Provides material list for each project.Provides cost outs for each project.Ensures that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner.Maintains documentation of each job, from start to finish.Resolves issues or conflicts with Plant Supervisor and/or HR.Approves or denies vacation, sick and unpaid leave for employees.Writes and present annual performance reviews.Provides continual feedback to employees in department regarding their work performance.Leads by example.What We're Looking For:Knowledge and understanding of process of work for Supervisor's direct area of responsibilityFlexible and responsive with strong teamwork orientationStrong problem-solving skillsKnowledge in use of basic hand toolsAbility to work well in a fast-paced environmentStrong orientation toward quality, safety, and continuous improvementSafety conscious behaviorAbility to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detailPrevious Supervisor experience or proven leadership qualities while working at ASCBasic mathematical skills and knowledge in use of measurement toolsSkill in the use and care of equipment and toolsHigh School or EquivalentPhysical & Work RequirementsAbility to regularly walk the production floor and interact with manufacturing teamsAbility to stand, bend, and move throughout manufacturing areas during assessments and improvement activitiesAbility to occasionally lift up to 50lbsAbility to support multiple shifts and work flexible hours when required to facilitate improvement initiativesAbility to work in manufacturing environmentsCome help us build safer, smarter, and more efficient ways to power the world's most demanding data centers.One Team One Goal.ASC is an Equal Employment Opportunity Organization.The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role.
