Driver Location: Jefferson, WI (covering Jefferson and surrounding areas) Schedule: Substitute. Pay: Starting at $17.00/hr. St. Coletta of Wisconsin has an excellent opportunity for a Substitute Driver in our Jefferson, WI programs! Our goal is to ensure the people we serve achieve their highest quality of life and personal growth! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Safely drives vehicle from homes of persons served or central loading area to destination, according to assigned schedule. - Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip. - Ensures that all passengers make use of their seatbelts and assures the safety of individuals being transported. - Safely operates cellular phone to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service. - Keeps records of trips and behavior of passengers. - Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories. - Participates in organizational or departmental committees and meetings, as appropriate. - Adheres to all St. Coletta organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
Requirements:
* Professional driving experience preferred, 18 years of age or older
* A valid state-issued driver's license with a driving record that meets our requirements
* A desire to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and other challenges in their personal growth
* Successfully complete all required training within 60 days of hire
