Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS-A)
New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS-A) to join our outpatient addiction treatment team in Morganton, NC. Help individuals overcome opioid addiction while working alongside an experienced team of physicians, nurses, counselors, and clinical leadership in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

What You'll Do:
Complete patient intakes, admissions, transfers, and discharge documentation
Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide individual, group, and family counseling
Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of direct patient counseling each week
Educate patients on addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and wellness
Identify clinical and case management needs while coordinating patient care
Collect urine drug screens and patient identification documentation
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation
Partner with physicians, nurses, counselors, and leadership to provide exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related behavioral health field
Active North Carolina LCAS-A credential required
Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, mental health, or counseling preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
