Job description
Substitute Crossing GuardAn ESS substitute crossing guard assists students with safe passage at designated cross streets and other duties as assigned by the building principal.ResponsibilitiesProvide safe passage and crossing for all students who cross streets at designated intersection/crossing areasBe aware of various school calendars in the district and the corresponding holidays, early dismissals, etc., reporting to assigned duty at prescribed times.Participate in two to three meetings with the building principal each year to discuss related issuesSecure a substitute crossing guard when unable to report for dutyComplete required time slips at designated time each weekTo perform all other related duties assigned by the building principalQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDPA Department of Education Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification – Act 24PA State Police Criminal History Clearance – Act 34Federal Criminal History Clearance – Act 114Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training - Act 126Child Abuse Clearance – Act 151Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release – Act 168Tuberculosis Test/PhysicalPrivacy InformationWhen you apply for a position with ESS, we collect personal information such as:Contact details (name, email, phone, address)Application materials (resume, work history, education, references)Information you choose to provide during the hiring process (interviews, assessments, background checks, as permitted by law)We use this information to:Evaluate your candidacy and qualificationsConduct interviews and background checksManage our recruitment and hiring processesComply with applicable legal obligationsWe do not sell or share applicant personal information.
