Substitute CustodianThe San Dieguito Union High School District (SDUHSD) is in need of substitute custodians to provide coverage when permanent staff are absent or when additional custodial services are needed. Hours will vary based on substitute's availability as well as District needs. It is anticipated that there will be an ongoing daily need for multiple substitutes until further notice.The SDUHSD invites candidates with a commitment to service to explore employment opportunities in our schools, offices, and facilities.Effective January 1, 2026, and in accordance with California Education Code Section 44051(a)(1), any applicant for a non-teaching position must disclose a complete list of every school district, county office of education, charter school, state special school and diagnostic center operated by the department of education, and private school that the applicant has previously been an employee of, including full-time, part-time, or substitute roles. Failure to provide this information may be considered an act of dishonesty and could affect hiring decisions.Employment with San Dieguito Union High School District is contingent upon successful completion of post-offer background check, fingerprinting, physical exam including tuberculosis, drug and alcohol screening, and an Oath of Allegiance. The District contracts with a designated provider to schedule the physical exam; physicals for all employees are paid by the District. At this time, the District will reimburse custodians for the cost involved in obtaining a fingerprint clearance once all clearances are received.
