Substitute CustodianLocation: Sussex Technical High SchoolReports To: Building ChiefsStarting Date: As soon as mutually agreeableQualifications: Minimum education of high school diploma required. Previous experience working in field of maintenance and/or cleaning preferred. Flexible schedule with ability to work on short notice. Must be able to complete essential job functions including but not limited to: stand for long periods of time, lift more than 50 lbs, operate light machinery, work outdoors, work in elevated or confined spaces.Performance Responsibilities: Clean assigned area in the school and coordinate with night custodian lead. Follow instructions and support night custodian team as assigned. Collaborate with other custodians to ensure that all tasks are completed. Follow all school policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.Terms of Employment: At-will position. Substitutes are not employees of the school district but rather work on a day-to-day basis as needed.Salary and Benefits: Non-benefit eligible position. Compensation is recorded in a half-days or full-days. Hours are 8am-4pm or 3pm-11pm. Substitute custodians earn a daily rate of: $156.00/day or $19.50/hr.Application Process: All applicants must follow the application process.
