Job description
Substitute CustodianGlendive Public Schools is looking for dependable Substitute Custodians to help keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming whenever regular staff are unavailable. If you take pride in your work, enjoy staying active, and want to make a difference behind the scenes, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Do:Clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areasSweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floorsEmpty trash and restock suppliesSet up and take down spaces, furniture, and equipment for school activities and eventsHelp maintain school grounds and outdoor areasRespond to spills and unexpected clean-up needsSecure the building at the end of shiftsFollow established cleaning and safety proceduresWhat We're Looking For:Reliable and flexible with schedulingAble to work independently and follow directionsGood attention to detail and time managementAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay active throughout shiftsBasic knowledge of cleaning methods (experience a plus, but not required)Ability to complete required pre-employment screenings, including a custodial physicalPositive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe learning environmentWhy Join Us?Be part of a supportive team and play an important role in creating Excellence in Education.
