Substitute CustodianSubstitute custodians district school sites Mankato area public schools has positions available for substitute custodians on an on-call basis Monday Friday. 1st shift 7 am to 3:30 pm 2nd shift 3 pm to 11:30 pm or 4 hr shift 3 pm to 7:00 pm.Job Responsibilities:Cleaning of classrooms, halls, gym, lavatories.Gather and dispose of refuse.Move furniture as needed.Help set up equipment for sports events.Must be able to lift safely.Must be able to work well with others and work alone, follow written instructions.Custodial Training time total 3 hrs: Initial custodial training approx. 2 hours. Safety training 1 hour. Paid training.Note: These positions are not permanent and are on an on-call basis. There are no benefits associated with these substitute positions.Pre-Employment Requirements:Physical Screening: Must pass a job-related physical screening.Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check.To apply for this position go to click on employment opportunities.
