Substitute CustodianLocation: North Brunswick, NJ 08902 Compensation: $27/h – 1099 Independent ContractorWe are seeking reliable Substitute Custodians to support the maintenance and cleanliness of our school facilities across the district. Custodians play a vital role in creating a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious custodial or maintenance experience preferred but not requiredAbility to perform physical tasks, including lifting, moving equipment, and standing for extended periodsStrong work ethic and attention to detailMust pass required criminal history background checkResponsibilities:Clean and maintain classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areasSweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform general upkeep of school facilitiesSet up and take down furniture or equipment as needed for eventsAssist with snow removal, minor repairs, and other maintenance tasks as assignedReport safety hazards, maintenance issues, or incidents to school administrationFollow all safety procedures and district policiesIf you are enthusiastic about education and enjoy working with students across grade levels, we encourage you to apply to become part of our substitute teaching team!
