Substitute CustodianOn call, as needed. Location: District Wide Scheduled Hours/Days: Varies Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods of time Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions Availability to work flexible hours Must pass a background check and pre-work screening Pay Rate/Range: $22.29/hr. Compensation/Benefits: An employee earns one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year. Deadline: 6/30/2027 -- EOE Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check and a required pre-work screening.Job Summary: The Substitute Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas within the facility. This is a substitute position and the employee will be called upon as needed to fill in for the regular custodian.Responsibilities:Regular custodial duties as it applies to the positionEnsure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintainedReport any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnelFollow all safety procedures and guidelinesPerform other duties as assigned
