Substitute CustodiansDay/Evening Shift As NeededSterling High School District Board of EducationSUBSTITUTE CUSTODIANS NO. 1710 Latest Revision: 4/29/04*****************************************************************************************************General Requirements1. All applicants for the position of substitute custodian must possess the necessary skills to perform the usual custodial routine of the job assigned to him/her.2. All applicants placed on the substitute list must be approved by the Board of Education on the recommendation of the Business Administrator.3. Pass a physical examination.4. Complete required training and paper work.Salary for Substitutes1. Effective July 1, 2004, substitute custodians will be compensated at a rate equal to the hourly rate of the first step of the salary guide in effect for the position the substitute is filling or $11.25, whichever is greater.
