Custodian PositionMUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FULL SHIFTS (5:30 AM TO 2:00 PM and/or 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM) Under the general supervision of an administrator, the Custodian maintains assigned rooms, buildings and service facilities in clean, orderly and secure manner; performs outdoor and general grounds care duties when assigned. Positions in this class may perform duties during a day or evening shift. Incumbents will report to the principle for assignments, may be assigned to work a shift divided between two schools and be called off-hour for school emergencies. On-Call, As-NeededALL COMMUNICATION WILL BE VIA EMAIL - PLEASE PROVIDE A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS REQUIRED INFORMATION/DOCUMENTS: Must have current resume (Upload onto Application) Must provide THREE (3) PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES with EMAIL address (Add to Application) Graduation from high school or equivalent (Upload Diploma/Transcript to Application) Other Requirements: Ability to speak and to understand and follow oral/written directions in English is a requirement. Custodial experience preferred Must have current/valid driver's license. NOTE: MUST PROVIDE NAMES AND EMAIL ADDRESSES FOR 3 REFERENCES. APPLICATIONS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IF REQUIRED DOCUMENTS ARE NOT SUBMITTED. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A SUBSTITUTE POSITION--ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS.Appointment to this position predicated upon proof of a negative TB test, district required proficiency tests, and fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice.The Immigration Reform and Control Act require the district to obtain documentation from every individual who is employed which verifies identity and authorizes his/her right to work in the United States.
