Job description
Substitute Fitness Center School Monitor
Type/Hours: Monday - Friday 5:00PM-8:00PM as need by district in absence of employee or based on needs of district.
Salary Range:
New York State Minimum Wage Minimum Qualifications: Able to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. Ability to communicate with children and adults in a positive and professional manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supervision & Safety: Actively monitor the fitness center to ensure all users are operating equipment safely and following established gym etiquette.
Facility Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning of machines, organize free weights, and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to school administration.
Emergency Response: Act as the primary point of contact for incidents; follow school protocols for injuries or equipment failure.
Policy Enforcement: Politely but firmly enforce rules regarding fitness center use.
