Pay by qualification level
Substitute Aide: $17.00 to $19.50 per hour
Substitute Assistant Teacher: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
Substitute Lead Teacher: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
Pay is based on verified education and experience. Not sure where you qualify? We will help you figure it out.

How it works
Choose the days you work and the centers you work in
Minimum of 16 hours a week, which is two full weekdays
Most shifts run a full 8 hour day, Monday through Friday
Support children ages 6 weeks to 6 years in licensed childcare centers across the Twin Cities
We were built by people who have been in your shoes. Our founder spent more than two decades as a teacher, director, and childcare center owner before starting TFT.
What you need
18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 25 miles
Ability to pass a background check
A smartphone with internet access
